I freaking love Devendra Banhart. His lyrics are beautiful, he’s the scruffiest, cuddliest, dirty man I’ve ever seen (just my type), and his live performances make you feel like you’re in an intimate drum circle with him, the band, and the fifty other people in the room.

The last time I saw him live Devendra asked if there were any musicians in the audience and let one guy come up and use his guitar to play one of his own songs. It was completely organic and a really creative, inspiring thing to be a part of.
