Yesterday was my 22nd birthday. I am now officially old. It’s weird, because 21 was such an exciting, epic birthday but now that I’m 22 I feel like I need to be a responsible adult… oy.

I love this blog post that ranks poets by beard weight. My only complaint is that one of my favorites, Walt Whitman, isn’t higher rated. I think he has a very impressive beard!

The reality of growing up just keeps embedding itself deeper and deeper in my mind. Starting in July after I gradute, I am no longer covered by my family health insurance. So, I’ve been trying to sift through all of this bureaucratic healthcare mumbojumbo and figure out what is a reasonable co-pay, deductible, coinsurance, yadda yadda yadda.

Spring09
I am about 1 more page of the chapter of my thesis I’ve been writing and 4-5 pages of a paper on Language Extinction away from being done with winter quarter! At around 1 p.m. tomorrow I’ll be free for spring break. I can’t wait.
My flight to LA is at 9 a.m. Thursday and I’m super excited to see my family and my girls again.
P.S. I’ve been stressing for months now...
